Can an Enrolled Agent negotiate with the IRS?

An Enrolled Agent holds the same unlimited right of representation before the IRS as a CPA or an attorney. The more useful question is what negotiation actually means when the other party applies a published formula.

On cadence. This section publishes one article a month. That is a deliberate limit rather than an aspiration: a blog with four posts and a two-year-old newest date is a worse signal than no blog at all, so the commitment here is to a rate that can be sustained through two filing seasons rather than a burst that stops in March. Upcoming pieces cover the common IRS notices in sequence, CP14, LT11, the Final Notice of Intent to Levy and wage garnishment options, followed by complex-situation topics: multi-entity structures, real estate, multi-state filing and S-corporations.

Beyond Reading

Reading is useful.
A transcript pull is better.

Articles describe the general procedure. Your account transcript describes your situation, including the collection statute date that decides most of the strategy.
